Hi, I’m Grace!
I’m the designer, printer, and owner (!) behind Fifth Grace Stationery.
After the pandemic, I became fascinated with letterpress after seeing Youtube shorts of museum directors printing on century old presses. Since then, I have acquired three letterpress machines, a hydraulic paper cutter, and three digital printers.
As someone who has kept every birthday card growing up, I believe wedding invitations should feel just as meaningful as the day they're celebrating. Whether it's a bold tropical wedding or a timeless black-tie celebration, my favorite part of this work is bringing a new vision to life with every couple. Each couple is an opportunity to explore fresh ideas, push the creative limits of paper and print, and discover thoughtful ways to make every detail feel uniquely personal. Every suite is designed to reflect their style and taste, then carefully printed by hand on my vintage letterpress presses in my garage.
As someone who also has lots of experience in the restaurant industry as a server, I’m very passionate about good customer service. Planning your wedding is already stressful, even overwhelming at times, so I hope that I can at least make the process of creating and sending your wedding stationery as smooth as possible!
My hope is that your invitations are the kind that have guests texting you the moment they arrive, saying how beautiful they are and how excited they are to celebrate with you. Not every guest will keep them, but the ones who do will be holding onto a piece of your story for years to come!
P.S. My business name is a play on words with my Korean name! My last name is a homonym for “five” in Korean, and we say our last names first, hence “Fifth” Grace :)
Every impression leaves an impression.
Every wedding begins with a story, and your stationery should be the first glimpse into it. Together, we'll explore your vision, wedding aesthetic, and the details that matter most to create a suite that feels uniquely yours.
As the design takes shape, we'll continue to modify each element before layering in embellishments like custom illustrations, envelope liners, wax seals, silk ribbon, or even vintage postage. Every detail is personally chosen, creating a cohesive suite that feels both beautiful and individual. Once the design is finalized, we’ll begin the printing and assembly, and now you won’t just see your invitations but actually feel them!
From our first conversation to the moment your invitations arrive, my goal is to make the process feel collaborative, creative, and enjoyable, resulting in stationery that not only reflects your celebration, but creates an unforgettable first impression for your guests!
